| 190th Anniversary - A Brief History | Guernsey Martyrs |
Welcome to the web site of La Villiaze Evangelical Congregational Church in Guernsey.
We are an Independent Church, Reformed in Doctrine and Worship.
On this page you will find a brief overview of our church services and some detail of where we can be found. Our services on Sundays are at 11:00 am and 6:00 pm, we also have a midweek meeting on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm. Please feel free to follow the links above to find out more.
What are the Services Like?
They are of a traditional and reverent
nature comprising:
Singing of Hymns
Prayer
Reading of the Bible
Preaching
How long do the Services last?
Generally about one and a quarter
hours.
Is there a Monetary Collection?
Yes but there is no compulsion. We
believe the church should be able to support itself and visitors are free to
give or not as they see fit. The proceeds are used for the work of the Gospel
both locally and elsewhere in missionary settings.
What about Children?
We welcome the whole family at our Services.
There is provision in the Morning Service for children of seven and under to
receive Sunday School teaching and should it be necessary to take babies out of
the congregation, a separate room is available for use where the Service can be
heard by loudspeaker. Once a month there is a Family Service in the morning.
Where can we be found?

British Channel Islands. Here is a map of where we can be found:
